Good to know

Common questions.

A clear starting point before you review the full contract and speak with Adelaide RV.

Isn't my manufacturer warranty enough?

It's great while it lasts, but it eventually ends, and that's often when expensive parts start to wear out. A Presidian warranty picks up after the relevant manufacturer warranty expires, helping with the cost of eligible mechanical and component failures so you're not caught with a big repair bill.

Can I use it interstate?

Yes. Presidian has an Australia-wide approved repairer network, so you can get help wherever you travel in Australia. Failures outside Australia aren't covered.

Can I transfer it if I sell?

Presidian provides a warranty transfer pathway, so remaining cover may be able to pass to the new owner, which can be a real selling point. Eligibility, requirements and any conditions are set out in the applicable Warranty Contract, so check those terms before you list your RV.

How do I claim?

Call Presidian on 1300 092 882 before any repairs start. They'll direct you to an approved repairer, and approved repairs are paid directly to the repairer within your plan limits. Repairs started without pre-approval aren't covered.

Do I still need insurance?

Yes. Warranty and insurance do different jobs. Warranty covers eligible mechanical and component failures, while insurance covers insured events like accidental damage, theft and storm. Most owners choose both.

Do I need to keep up servicing?

Yes. Servicing must follow the manufacturer's guidelines to keep your cover valid. Refer to the applicable Warranty Contract for all obligations.
